לינקטון הוא מעין אתר אינטרנט קטן המוקדש כולו לשיר אחד.
בלחיצה אחת עליו, ישמע העורך, השדר, או הכתב את השיר ויוכל להוריד את השיר באמצעות שם משתמש וסיסמה.
לינקטון הינה המערכת המרכזית לקבלת מוסיקה חדשה על ידי איש המדיה הישראלי.

אפליקציית לינקטון משמשת ככלי נוסף להאזנה והורדת התכנים הקיימים באתר לינקטון.
אמנים ומפיקים שהפיצו תכנים דרך לינקטון יוכלו לצפות בסטטיסטיקות ההאזנה וההורדה דרך האפליקצייה.
